It’s my favourite day of the year! To some it’s shrove Tuesday, but to me it is definitely pancake day. We’ve had 3 days of blue skies, which is unprecedented for London, and Lenny’s back in the kitchen @restaurantmoro Happy days! 🌞#comeonspring

@wildflowers.restaurant Absolute perfection!! 👌🏻What a little bubble of magic! From the big hearted greeting at the door, to the warm service, (the kind where your server knows exactly how you’d like to be served and offers suggestions that knows the exact journey you want to go on…thank you, Alex!) the perfectly balanced and thoughtful plates (the herb and garlic butter mussels, and pork chop with pear and almond purée were my personal faves), each different and singing their own tune…and let’s not forget that fior di latte soft serve with grape balsamic, olive oil and sea salt!!! I’m levitating with happiness now. Thank you to Aaron and Laura, and the rest of your lovely team…you’ve put your heart and soul into this place! Bravo 👏🏻

Gosh, Devon, I had no idea!! This is Bantham, right on the Avon estuary as it’s about to meet the sea. You jump in and can either be carried upstream with the incoming tide or downstream when it turns. Before you get to the sea, the water funnels and ‘swooshes’ you at high speeds down to the beach. 🏖️ #devon #banthambeach #nationaltrustwalks #nationaltrust

Wow wow wow!!! Lobster pie for two?!?!…no I’m quite hungry, sir, and feel I can finish this for myself…which was no problem. Really no problem at all. The surroundings (we sat beneath a Lucien Freud, the floor mosaics in the design of skulls), the gobsmacking collection of art (which if you ask very nicely will be taught you through) the beautiful chairs we sat on (I did think about taking one home with me…and the salt and pepper grinders, but I reckon I want to come back at some point, tomorrow breakfast, even maybe) the obvious care in their service (they got our cheekiness and returned it with topspin), the attention to detail with…every…little…thing. Wow. @mountstrestaurant @hauserwirth - bravo!!👏🏻 “You’re my lobster”
